I would like to wish all my readers a very enjoyable and happy Christmas. I also would like to remind you that computer safety is important and that it is very important to not forget about your computer over this festive season. You also need to be aware of the factor that now is the time that cybercriminals are going to try many tricks but you must not fall for any of them.

For those of you who are getting a brand new computer for Christmas, I really hope that you use it wisely and enjoy it. Always remember that the internet is an evil place because there are many viruses lurking around everywhere. You need to always have up to date software on your computer, even if it is the festive season. You actually should be more careful during the festive season. I wish you the best Christmas ever.

My wish for myself over Christmas is to get a brand new computer from Santa. I also would like new speakers which are brilliant, a new motherboard and a new graphics card. I really want a new decent graphics card so that I can start playing some online games. I have many friends who are into online gaming and I wish that I could join them, but I can’t because they all laugh at my graphics card. Yes I do understand that they pay lots of money for theirs but I still feel sad that I have a bad graphics card that people can laugh at.I wish you al a merry Xmas and a happy new year.

Wacky Wednesday Blogging!

Welcome to Wednesday blogging. Today I would like to express my feelings and thoughts about computer nerds. I have some friends who are real nerds but are such wonderful people that I really love them. They are brilliant on computers and really know their stuff yet they also enjoy going out and enjoying life. I then know some people who are nerds but never do anything else but spend time on their computers and who have no social skills at all, in fact in public these particular people can be rather embarrassing.

I am happy that I have social skills and don’t portray myself as nerdy. I think that a big part of me is nerdy because I do love my computer and computer security but when I meet new people, they don’t always know that about me until I have gotten to know them better. I have never really liked sports at all and I will choose a computer over sports any day of the week. I also think that computer nerds can be cool, as if you look at Mr. Gates, you can see how well he has turned out. He has changed the world and if I could do that I would be very happy. I have no clue how to build or design operating systems but if I did I would be very happy.

There are some computer nerds that I know, that will start talking to people about computers. The thing is that they talk about computers in situations when it is not really socially acceptable to do so. My friends sometimes laugh as they have no idea what my other friends are talking about. People who are brilliant with computers and computer security, do need to understand that not everybody understands these things. They need to be a little bit more socially sensitive in my opinion. That is only my opinion for what it is worth.

There is a fine line between computer nerds and balanced computer nerds who can socialize well. It is so strange to watch a computer nerd interact in society. Some people are brilliant interacting via a machine but the moment that it comes to face to face human interaction they have a tendency to really struggle. I understand from their point of view what it must be like, as I also feel more confident in front of a computer screen. It is strange how we operate at human beings and how computers and computer security fit into all of this.

I hope that I have given you something to think about and would love to hear any comments that you may have. I love other people’s opinions and as much as I like writing my own opinions, it also can get quite boring. Tuesday:Alerting You Of Xmas Online Pranks

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another fun and exciting blog. I want to warn you today that you need to be very alert this Christmas season. You see online criminals are going to try their luck, with computer related crimes. These crimes can be anything. You need to be extra cautious when you are doing online shopping for Christmas. You also need to be very careful when you click on links. You may receive many Christmas cards in your inbox, but my suggestion to you would be to only open cards if you are sure about the person who sent it.

You need to know that online criminals will do what they can in order to try and steal your money and get onto your machine this Christmas. There are some lonely cybercriminals out there who are just plotting cybercrimes as I write this. They know that everyone is going to be happy with the Christmas spirit and they will use this to their advantage. Anything that you receive online that is Christmas related, you need to be very careful. There are many scams out there and if you don’t fall victim to an online Christmas crime you may potentially fall victim to a rogue.

At the end of the day please be careful. I am not saying this for my own good but for yours. I really don’t want cybercriminals to steal from anybody or hack into anybody’s computer. I think that it seriously is within your best interest to be extra careful during this festive season and also to make sure that your computer security software is updated. Monday Computer Blogging

Welcome to yet another Monday blog. I am seriously having the strangest weekends. I would like to tell you a computer story that happened to me this weekend. Well it didn’t happen directly to me it happened to my friend but I was still involved to some extent.

This weekend I was in my room, listening to some music, while talking to some people on the internet. This is very common for me as I spend lots of time during my weekends chatting on the internet. I got a phone call from a really good friend of mine that said he has a major problem and that he needed to speak to me. He lives very near me so we decided to meet for some milkshakes.

I went to meet my friend and I had a big delicious chocolate double thick milkshake that was seriously good. The reason for him calling to meet with me was because his hard drive crashed. I know that for some people this may not be a big deal but you need to understand the situation. My friend saved up for a long time to buy an extra hard drive for his computer that guarantees that it won’t break. This means that the data it has, can’t be erased. Somehow this was all lies and my friend lost all the stuff he has been collecting for months on end. He was very angry and I wasn’t sure how to calm him down. I did suggest a few options and told him to do some research on data recovery on the internet and find some solutions. I told him that if he couldn’t do this himself then he could always call in a professional to help him.

All in all it was a sad day for me too, as I don’t like seeing my friends upset. I also know how long he had taken to save for that hard drive. I also know how long he took collecting all the stuff that he wanted and I also know that he felt secure because he was told that his hard drive was guaranteed not to crash. I am not sure what happened but I am seriously wondering why they tell people a hard drive won’t crash and take lots of money for it, when it ends up crashing anyway? What is going on here? Computer Friday

Today is Friday and I am so happy because I can go home and relax. You know with me by now that my relaxing is usually computer relaxing. I spend lots of my free time on my computer, and yes it is a bit nerdy but I really enjoy it. I love just sitting in front of my computer in my own time and discovering things. I sometimes try to understand things and Google things that I want to know more about.

I do all of this with computer related stuff but I think that you could do the exact same thing, with any topic that interests you. You can just research and teach yourself anything that you want. I love my computer stuff as it really stimulated my mind and makes me excited about life. I always want to buy new computer parts all the time. It is becoming like an obsession to me these days. I want more and more computer parts. I want the best hardware that money can buy and I want the best software that money can buy.

I am going to have the best computer weekend ever and I can’t wait, I am really excited!

Nearly Friday!

It is nearly Friday,okay it is Thursday but we are almost there.I think I want new speakers for my computer,my sound is just average and I don’t like.I was wondering if anyone else had problems with sound?

One of the sound related issues that I have is that sometimes Windows Media Player just won’t play any audio when I want to watch a movie,the visual is there but not the audio.I then have to play the movie in VLC instead and then it seems to work.I am wondering if this is a common problem?

I was getting very annoyed,so I updated my codecs and got a new version of Windows Media Player,every thing seems to work much better and faster now.I think that all of you should all download the latest Windows Media Player version,which will make a big difference to your computer.    

Random Computer Blogging

Welcome to yet another fun and exciting computer blog of mine. I can’t wait to see computers advance and look forward to being alive in the next ten years, so I can watch and compare the changes. I wonder what changes will happen in the monitors or if they will remain the same. I wonder if anyone really knows what the world of computers and computer security will be like.

There are lots of things that I wonder about. I wish that I could see inside the mind of a cybercriminal, I would love to see how his mind operates. I would like to know what motivates him or her. I would like to know if it is all for fun or for money. Is a person less scared to commit a huge serious crime if they have a computer screen to hide behind and act as a buffer? These thoughts cross my mind on a daily basis and I just seem to have more questions never any answers.

Maybe someone that I know is a computer criminal but is walking around like you and I. Maybe some computer nerds are really computer criminals and I just think they are cool computer nerds. Maybe the computer criminals are really executive bankers who you would never ever think are brilliant at computers. Maybe when they were kids they studied programming secretly and know everything about code. They may act like normal people, maybe they tell their wives that they are doing work research on the internet, when they are really secretly hacking like a genius and committing huge crimes, going by some other name. Hope I have given you some food for thought, I will write again soon.

Monday Rogue Antispyware Fears!

It is yet another Monday and I still scared of rogues.I was on my computer this weekend and all of a sudden,there was a system scan of my computer taking place on a website.I knew for a fact that this was a rogue and I knew to get out of it as soon as I could.I also knew to not download anything but it tried it’s best to try to infect my computer.

I am lucky that I have decent antispyware running on my computer.I also always make sure that I update my software on a regular basis.I really only want the best software on my machine and don’t want any rubbish software.I am very obsessed with this and my software has to always be up to date else I start feeling very anxious.

This rogue that tried to get onto my computer,made me serious laugh as I knew exactly what it was up to.I feel sorry for people who fall for it.I hope that you never ever fall for a rogue antispyware application.Do not believe any of the fake computer security notifications.I hope that you all have an excellent Monday and that you keep your computer safe and secure.I don’t like telling people what to do,but I do think that you should seriously consider updating your software on your computer if you haven’t done so already.This applies strongly to any antivirus software which you may have.

Welcome everyone, I want to wish you all a fantastic weekend and I hope that the field of computers and computer security treats you well this weekend. My wish for you is that you don’t encounter any viruses, Trojans, rogues or anything else this weekend. I seriously know that I don’t want any.

I do want a new keyboard and new motherboard this weekend. Maybe Father Xmas can come early for me and help me out. Santa can bring me all types of computer stuff while he is at it. I want so many computer parts it is not even funny. I want the perfect computer which is going to take me time, I would much rather hope for Santa to come and for everything to just appear. That would make life so much easier and would also make a wonderful weekend for me.

My computer thoughts!

Blogging Today! I don’t know why I am so obsessed with my computer,but I am.It is almost like my computer represents my life and my acheivements to me.The thing is that I love computers because they can do so many things.I seriously feel sorry for people who are scared of computers and don’t know how to use them ,as they are shutting themselves off to entire aspects of the universe.

It is really fantastic because sitting infront of a computer when you are connected to the internet,is like sitting infront of the entire world.You can connect with everybody everywhere in a matter of seconds.You can get any information on anything.I don’t see why people would be scared of this.

I also find that people who don’t know much about the internet and computers,seem to have strange ideas.They seem to think that if you speak to people online that they must be rapists or psychopaths.They are so scared of everything and everyone,and it really bugs me.I mean come on,if you don’t think that every single person that you come into contcat with in real life on a daily basis is dangerous,then why would every single person that you come into contact with on the online world be dangerous?

Anyway I would just like to stress the factor that I am completely open minded when it comes to computers,the internet and computer security.I want to learn and grow and I am happy that we live in these times,where we have these modern facilities avaiilable to us.I am going to embrace it that is for sure.
