It’s that time of day again, where I gripe about the state of this internet ‘haven’, no longer haven but now a playground for nefariob7be1a9945ad2280e9bb6b1af63e6ecbus applications and dubious files alike, all meandering around on the net – searching for the next unsuspecting victim!

One can never really know just how safe their system is, yet there are steps we can take to optimize our computer safety. What they are, what they do, how you can prevent infiltration and how you can ensure the integrity of your system remain intact.

Malware Cleaner takes the lead in malicious malware programs…be warned!

April 30, 2009 froshfrau 1 comment

True to my word, here is the second instalment of nefarious, dubious and did I mention rogue anti-spyware applications.3266_111638450872_542470872_2934470_5673666_n

Malware Cleaner may appear to be a useful computer security tool – but do NOT be fooled – this parasite is definitely NOT going to assist you or your computer in any way, shape or form.

Malware Cleaner makes use of Trojan applications, to further its goals. The Trojans will infect the computers when a user visits a malicious website.

Malware Cleaner is advertised as a reliable anti-spyware program, this way it is made that much easier for Malware Cleaner to achieve its end goal – of swindling money from unsuspecting computer users.

Malware Cleaner was designed to compromise system security and to offer ineffective paid removal services.

Our hit-list begins with: Top Antivirus. Yet another rogue anti-spyware application that has recently been unleashed onto the internet community.

Top Antivirus is propagated via the use of Trojan horses, the likes of Trojan Zlob or Vundo. Sometimes Top Antivirus will also make use of misleading websites and other malware applications to ensure an infiltration into an unsuspecting computer system is successfully carried out.

Top Antivirus was designed with one purpose – to convince computer users that their PC’s are infected with malicious content and to coerce these unsuspecting individuals into purchasing a licensed version of the malware, in order to remove all ‘threats’ and protect their data and privacy.
