Freaky Friday Computer Blogging

November 20, 2009 froshfrau Leave a comment

Yah!! It is the weekend and this weekend once again I will be spending more time with my computer. I have reached a very important decision in my life, which is that I have decided to go ahead and upgrade my computer. I want to change almost everything about my computer in order to improve it, but I need to have patience and take it one step at a time.

I think that sometime this weekend I will go and look for some things I can do to improve my computer. I want to go to some computer shops and get ideas and make myself a budget for my computer improvements. I am thinking of even going as far as buying a new computer case and a new keyboard. I can’t wait to see what my new improved finished computer version will look like. I do know that if I want to do this properly, I am going to need to wait a while. It is going to take time to build this up and get it to the level that I want it to be on.

I am very excited and know that I am going to have lots of fun updating my computer and making all these big improvements. You see I rather improve on what I’ve got as opposed to starting from new. There are some decent aspects about my computer that I love and could just simply improve on. I might even look at the security of my computer and see if I can make any improvements. I am happy with my antivirus and antispyware removal tool!

Anyway I am going to update and improve my computer slowly. Maybe if you are lucky enough I will keep you all posted on the changes which I make. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.

Computer Blogging

I am here again, to talk to you about my feelings this time. Okay so I am not a wimp, my feelings are about computers. My feelings about computers are very real to me as my computer is the one thing in the world that I own that I seriously couldn’t live without. I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to my computer as I think I would probably just want to die and end it all. I seriously have worked too hard on that computer and yes if you are wondering I do back up my data but still, there are some things on it which I can’t lose.

I have everything on my computer; my entire world is on there. Yes I know it is a virtual but it is still my world and I love it regardless. I use my computer for everything that I do for entertainment, which includes: watching movies, listening to music, playing games, chatting to friends and much more.

If anything happened to my computer I would seriously go mad. I do what I can to try and keep my computer safe. That means that I use a decent antispyware removal product which is up to date. I also use a decent antivirus which detects a threat immediately and gives me the option of deleting it. I also have a fairly decent firewall running on my machine. This is just some of the many precautions which I try and take in order to make sure my computer is safe.Computer

September 9, 2009 froshfrau Leave a comment

The way of world these days, it seems, is to dupe and mislead every which way, in all aspects of life, and the Internet community is mera_beautiful_mind_by_moonywolfely following suit.

Personal Guard 2009 is the latest in scams! Pretending to be a spyware remover, this application has one primary objective: to scare its victims into purchasing its licensed version.

Personal Guard 2009 also referred to as: PersonalGuard2009, Personal Guard2009 or PersonalGuard 2009, doesn’t deviate much from the typical and most widely practiced tactics of PC parasite infiltration.

Personal Guard 2009 tends to use affiliated backdoor Trojans, usually Trojan Vundo or Zlob, in order to ensure hidden penetration into the targeted machine is successful.

Once inside the designated system, Personal Guard 2009will obscurely create hundreds of fake malware entities in the infiltrated system.

Sufficient care must be taken by both the private and public sectors to protect all information with which they are entrusted.

The solutions offered in “How to Protect Computer Data”, are not meant to be the end all solutions but are intended to illustrate that not even the most basic of information security controls were implemented.

Woe to those few individuals that continue to make our online experience one filled with second guessing and skepticism.Beautiful_World_by_VinhFX

Why – you may ask? Well, for anyone who makes use of the online community on a regular basis, it is clear that the state of one’s computer security is questioned on a daily basis – due to the millions of nefarious applications out there – so again I say woe to those few individuals that design and implement these dubious tactics and applications.

The latest of such applications is the rogue anti-spyware: AVCare also referred to as AV Care.

AVCare is installed onto a computer system via a Trojan infection, or might even enter into the system when the user visits malicious and dubious websites, which contain the virus in scripts embedded within.
And no – this application will not be able to assist you any way, shape or form. This program is dubious and was designed to have harmful functionality.

July 29, 2009 froshfrau Leave a comment

I am sure you have heard the saying before: don’t judge a book by its cover – well the same goes for todays’ feature PC parasite: do not judge tThis_beautiful_world____by_Chicagogirl11his application by its name, as it is highly misleading! Security Center is the latest in rogue anti-spyware applications.

Security Center, also known as SecurityCenter is not to be taken lightly. havign been assocaited with the likes of Secret Service and Privacy Center, older rogue applciations, Security center is believed to be a clone of these two applications.

It is important to note that once embedded within a computer system, Security Center may attempt to kill all .exe processes, leaving the system without fully operational and functional processes; therefore before attempting to delete this PC parasite from a system, you must make sure you have backed up all your data.
