Computer Security Chatting

I wonder what chatting devices people can hack into?. I have heard that malicious online attackers are actually able to hack into every single chatting device that there is. So basically no matter what I.M you are using, you are never safe as someone can get in and gain access of your computer. Even worse than this is the factor that if you are making use of an instant messenger application, you are running high risks of malicious online attackers being able to actually capture your conversations, as well as use the information to their advantage.

I don’t know what to think anymore as on one the one hand I seriously love chatting and being in contact with people via instant messenger applications, but on the other hand the question that you need to ask yourself is: Is it worth it? Just because it hasn’t happened to you yet, dosen’t mean that it won’t happen to you and this is a very important lesson that you need to acknowledge when it comes to the mind boggling field of computer security.

Computer security is a strange field and I do get paranoid talking on instant messenger applications, but the truth of the matter is that I actually can’t live without them. I am a computer nerd who is proud to be one.
