Computer Security Madness

The madness of computer security is stopping me from feeling safe online. I am paranoid every time that I do any form of internet banking. I am so scared that I may become a victim of a cybercrime at some point during my life. I think that people may not be that scared because the computer acts as a buffer between cybercriminals and victims. The truth is just because they aren’t a physical threat doesn’t mean that they can’t ruin your life.

I think in the future people may have to seek therapy for computer fears. I wonder if it will become a fear, like some people have of driving. I wonder if people over secure their computers for free of people getting in. Is that even an option? I mean like if you had to for instance use every form of computer security possible and maybe combine them all, I wonder if that would help.

It is strange because in some way I actually believe that people should be more afraid of what they can’t see than what they can. Every time when you are online there are people all over the entire world who you can’t see who can get into your computer. Some of these people are just as evil as all the bad people that you hear about on the news every evening.

Well there you have it guys, my thoughts for the day. Inside the inner workings of my mind, I actually think about computer security often and wonder about it. There is so much to learn and understand, that the more I know the more I realize there is so much that I don’t know!
